Launching backward and rising to 60 mph, Cosmic Rewind can deliver plenty of thrills thanks to being housed in the largest show building on Disney World property (nearly 200,000 sq. feet).
Cosmic Rewind might have jumpstarted a new age of thrill rides at Disney World. TRON Lightcycle / Run debuted one year later, the Monstropolis coaster is currently being built and another high-speed coaster is planned for Villains Land.
